In this throw-back actioner, skateboarder Jack Urban must avenge his sister’s death. His antics ignite chaos throughout a reimagined Austin, Texas, set “two weeks in the future.” An homage to cheesy skateboarding dramas of the 80s such as Gleaming The Cube and Thrashin’, this indie-actioner features zany practical effects and gritty stunt work. First known as “Roughrider,” Collider and Film Threat gave glowing reviews before relaunched as “Urban Vengeance” in 2024.
